Isabel Group appoints new CEO

Isabel Group has appointed Kris De Ryck as the new CEO of the fintech company. He will be tasked with further expanding Isabel Group’s strong position in the areas of payments, digitalization and data. Kris De Ryck has extensive experience with interbank initiatives and fintech, at companies including Bancontact, Batopin and itsme©.

Over the past six years, Isabel Group has experienced successful diversification and growth with Kris De Ryck’s predecessor Jean de Crane remaining on board as an advisor to the business division with subsidiaries Clearfacts, Codabox and Clearnox. “We are market leaders in various subsegments such as the digitalization of accounting processes and multibanking, with a strong presence in digital invoicing. Jean de Crane’s contribution to this cannot be overstated. With this strategic move and the arrival of Kris De Ryck, we are aiming for parallel growth of our market position in interbanking services,” says Bram Somers, Chairman of Isabel Group.

Companies use Isabel  to easily aggregate access to different bank accounts. The company also provides highly secure authentication solutions and various data platforms to the financial sector. A second branch of Isabel Group develops software to simplify the management of accounting and other financial processes for businesses and accounting firms.
