[Press release] International growth for Belgian business payment solution Ponto

Brussels, January 12, 2023 – The Belgian finance automation platform Ponto is crossing the border in Europe. Ponto, Isabel Group’s API solution for Account Information and Payment Initiation, is expanding its reach, focusing on the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Spain, and Italy. Ponto has seen a growing interest from these countries, with France becoming its third most important market after Belgium and the Netherlands.

Ponto’s international target audience is the accountancy and finance software market. Over 90% of its current partners are currently servicing this industry. Ponto’s APIs are designed to help software companies automate their interactions with bank data, making it easier for SMEs and accountants to extract bank statements and initiate payments. Ponto’s APIs are adaptable to multiple use cases, and works with a variety of industries, including real estate and auditing.

Marie Costers, VP Business Solutions at Isabel Group explains: “Ponto’s APIs allow software companies to extract bank data from various sources without having to build their own technology, as every bank has a different format. I look forward to launching this solution internationally together with our Sales Director Gilles Soaleh.”
