Argenta now also commits to digital business credit card statements with CARO from CodaBox

Brussels, June 22, 2023 – Following the launch of the CODA service at the beginning of this year, Argenta is now also investing in the digitization of credit card statements. These statements can now be delivered directly to the accountants of its business customers. To achieve this, the bank once again relies on CodaBox, more specifically on the unique CARO service. With CARO, the exchange and processing of credit card statements is completely digital, directly from the bank’s environment to the accountant’s accounting package.

Business owners currently provide credit card statements to their accountant themselves. This is done via e-mail, or in some cases still on paper. Accountants then type the financial data into their accounting package. That manual process takes a lot of time.

With CARO, the exchange and processing of credit card statements is completely digital, directly from the bank’s environment to the accountant’s accounting package. It saves time for both the entrepreneur and the accountant, reduces the margin of error and lowers the risk of missing documents.

“Argenta is making great strides in providing services for professional customers in 2023, with CodaBox’s CODA and CARO services as important building blocks. With these, we are once again making life a whole lot easier for our professional customers,” said Stefaan De Backer, Program Director Professional Segment at Argenta.

“Customers’ credit card statements contain essential data for accountants to keep complete and correct accounts. We are therefore very pleased with the arrival of Argenta because this will allow our accountants to work with more peace of mind. After all, that is the mission of CodaBox,” said Marie Costers, VP Business Solutions at Isabel Group, the parent company of CodaBox.

CARO in figures

  • Argenta is the fourth Belgian bank to use CodaBox’s CARO service.
  • With a total of 15,000 digital credit card statements, entrepreneurs are increasingly discovering the service
  • 388 accountancy firms receive credit card statements from their customers via CARO.
